I am never going to use anything other than ARKO for the rest of my life. Seriously, this shaving soap is the bees knees. A little goes a long way and judging by the tiny amount I use to shave my head and body, this one stick is going to last me at least a year, if not longer. And it's only $5! The cost and longevity aren't the only good things. It smells good, it lathers incredibly well, and it's silky and smooth – which is exactly how your skin feels afterwards.

I use it slightly differently than the directions indicate. I wet the hair with warm water, dip the end of the soap in hot/warm water for a few seconds, then directly rub the soap over the hair. I lather the soap with my hands and then start shaving. I use it for all my shaving needs: head, legs, underarms, etc. It's not just for beards (I'm a woman so I don't have one anyway!)
