I considered giving this 2 stars because I like the fact that you can plug it directly into your phone through the Type-C interface but overall I can't justify it due to the transfer speed. When copying files it will transfer at a rate of 82MB/s for only a couple of seconds and then drop to <1MB/s for around 30 seconds or so. I know it's not my PC because I've killed all other running applications and retested multiple times using other USB 3 sticks in the same port. Overall this product is either faulty or poorly designed internally which is a massive bummer because I really like the feel of the physical build quality. Might be okay for small non-media files – but I certainly wouldn't want to use it for transferring large files at work, you'd probably get fired for wasting time. Fantastic shipping times by Mighty Ape as usual though so props to them!
