HyperX Quadcast Microphone reviews

Extremely happy right now. I don't shop online often because I get stressed about the what ifs etc. After doing the research on the Quadcast I kind of just closed my eyes and hit purchase. Less than 24 hours and 3 bleeding noses later it arrives to work! Mics great for streaming and once a did a few minor adjustments in OBS like noise gate and limiters etc it was perfect. Only issue I have is the gain control on the bottom doesn't click in place so a slight touch of it can change it but it's a minor issue overall. Thanks mighty ape for making this grown ass man a happy kid!!

Finally got my hands on a standalone mic and man am I pleased with it. Very good quality, and the four different modes are all very cool to use and will be used heaps in up coming projects ! The red LEDs are also very nice as they fit in well with my setup too. The top touch sensor mute button is also very handy and silent when muting. 10/10

Okay amazing microphone!! Easy to set up and omg the voice quality from this thing is amazing , this is my personal opinion but after owning a yeti – blackout for 2 years I would prefer the hyperX quadcast over it and also I love the really simple touch to mute feature it has , with the yeti I would have to click the mute button a few times to get it to actually mute, I don’t know if anyone else had this problem but I certainly did, please thumbs up this review so I know I’m not the only one 👍 Highly recommend this microphone!!!!!!!

I ordered this microphone after my headset mic died, best purchase I had made in a while.

Audio is good, I have its gain (volume) set to below the first dot and it's loud and clear.

Comes with a shockmount attached for if you bump your table or something.

The red LED when you mute/unmute is really handy for a quick glance to check if your mic is on or off.

I don't mind the sound at all, easy to use & set up, looks fantastic… But my friends all told me that my previous microphone, Razer Seiren mini (80 NZD on sale, was better! I tried them both on multiple devices, did tests… And I agree! The hyper X sounds artificially boosted – even on low gain – whereas the Seiren mini sounds much more natural; and higher quality. Maybe just go for that.

This Mic is one of the best I have used only downfall is the USB cable is loose and it actually ruined the firmware I had it for a year so upgrading to the Quadcast S would be five stars if it wasn't for the cable it comes with.

This mic sounds great and it's of great build quality too. I wish i'd known how bright the red LEDs inside of it glow though, it leaves a red reflection constantly on my monitor..

Although the top of the mic is very sensitive via it gets muted some a single tap of basically anything I love the mic overall, I have a HyperX headset and it would usually be loose in my computer so if I tapped it it would come out but now I can just use this mic with it and it's the same brand so it comes with extra benefits!

I like the 4 features of this, can easily pickup my voice and it was a clear. But there's one thing I didn't like…when you touch the top of the mic to mute it, it's just to slow to response.

It is such a perfect mic and it works on consoles as well as pc, only downside I have with this mic is the fact the sometimes the echo in voice chats come from me when I plug my headset into the mic. Though that could just be my headset. Don't let that tell you no though. I still recommend this to anyone. Plus who doesn't want to sound the best in voice chats

Very high quality mic. I switched to this after using a built-in headset mic for years, and the quality and volume on this mic is just so much better – no background hum that you get with cheap mics. The light looks great, and the touch to mute feature is very handy.

This mic is amazing, coming from using a headset mic to this is worlds apart the quality of voice is great for streaming

As any amatuer would be pushed towards the Blue Snowball, Blue Yeti or other various mics I did my own research. This had plenty of positive reviews already and for good reason. Upon receiving it, it was just plug and go. The adaptable jack screw makes it easy to go onto any Mic stand you may purchase. It has a shock mount even. At first I was worried I would need a pop filter. While it does improve slightly with one, it doesnt pick up those nasty S and P's as badly as other mics. I was absolutely astonished at the quality difference when comparing it with my blue yeti. It looked nicer and it's actually of similar price. Probably the best microphone for casual and entry level pros. May even be competitive with higher end ones as well. It will require other tools for sure if you're looking for more professional use beyond youtube or twitch but super happy with this purchase.

Absolutely love this mic. Great amount of settings to play around with, easy to set up. Love how pretty it is when lit up and love the mute function. Very happy with this microphone for streaming.

Amazing results with a little bit of Equalizing effects. Tested it vs my old headphones mic with the same effects and it is 198% better! I can now start recording voice overs with confidence that it will be worth the time investment.

I just got the RGB version of this mic and lemme just say it’s amazing the mic quality is very good and it’s very clear I recorded myself the build quality is solid and it looks even better in person than on a video or picture. This mic is a must have if you want something worth the money.

Has 4 choices of microphone type in one with a useful switch knob at the back. Functions exactly as described.

Great touch-mute button on the top, pop-filter already inside. Volume input sensitivity rotational at the bottom. Go look at a youtube review and figure out how amazing this is. 10/10 for ASMR if that's your jazz.
