Very hard to assemble and often falls apart.

The pieces don't seem to have been machined very well and are “frayed” on the edges, they don't fit together all that well.

Comes unassembled and the pieces are very fiddly. Tried to superglue it as it doesn’t stand by itself. Not stable at all for heavy lego so will not be using it, waste of money!

If I could give this 0 stars, I would. Despite the fact that this does not hold together, there is no mention of glue in the instructions. The product information says that it ‘magnetically’ holds together – it does not, and the mention of magnets is the sum total of magnetics associated with this product. It barely holds together with super glue, and even then it requires more hands than the average person has to get the pieces to remain in place while the glue sets.

Assembling this was like trying to build cheap kitset furniture where nothing quite fits together, half the instructions are missing, and you didn't get any fastenings. The pieces have a front and back which is not immediately obvious. Cleaning super glue off my fingers after finally assembling it was more enjoyable than building it.

Most of the pieces came with the protective film still on them which had to be peeled off before assembly. This is not mentioned in the instructions.

The only positive I can think of for this product is that it would be a great punishment for the Lego fan in your life – although they might not be in your life anymore once they've tried to build it.

The poor quality of the product even extends to the product information, which says that it is constructed of “exclusively 3mm” acrylic and then goes on to add 5mm and 6mm acrylic. I'd suggest a proof reading of the content, but that might give buyers the false impression of a quality product, so it's probably better left with the errors.
