I have never used Army Painter brushes before, but for the price they are excellent. They have a nice tip, hold paint well and the tri-grip makes them a pleasure to use. Highly recommended.

A truly great starter brush set that outmatches a few others in the same range, though the must be treated gently and I did notice some hair splitting after a few uses.

These brushes were terrible right from the start, they split & lost there form right away. The only semi-decent one was the drybrush & even then it even falls short of my cheapest $2 shop brushes. Definitely not worth the money & I could have bought other branded ones for round the same price.
Highly recommended this set of brushes for the insane detail brush alone! The regiment brush is perfect for, as they say, painting regiments!
