When drilling set the bit deep inside mouth depending on strength of object. Short for lead alloy , but longer is ok for thin plastic . If drilling a figures hand for a pole line up exit point with beginning point and take 3 pushes with turning to make your hole . Holding piece in a vice or hold strongly is useful . Also a small hole bit then follow with a larger hole bit is also wise
